Apex Greenhouses has designed and built commercial glasshouse projects throughout Australia and New Zealand for the past 40 years. We know our backyard, understand local conditions and know what is required to deliver a custom glasshouse or greenhouse project in often-challenging environments.

Apex Greenhouses began in New Zealand in the 1970s, with its roots in design and in the manufacture of glasshouse structures. Founded by Dutch immigrant Leo Faber, we expanded into Australia in the 1990s, and are led across the Tasman by Leo’s son Folco.

Apex’s evolution continued in 2023 when it sold a minority share to the Dutch greenhouse aggregator Green V, providing access to a wider range of technologies and construction techniques.

Much of the technology used in greenhouses has been developed in Western Europe, but do these techniques and solutions suit growing conditions in Australian and New Zealand markets?

What works in a highly-integrated and supported greenhouse cluster like the famous Westland region in the Netherlands does not always directly transfer to Australian and New Zealand standards. We can custom build a solution for your local conditions and regulations.
