USYD research glasshouse

USYD received multiple offers to design and construct its new research facility at Camperdown, NSW but ultimately choose Apex because of its strong track record of delivering high-quality research projects within Australia and New Zealand.

Although it has a small footprint, building was a challenge with 16 distinct and separate compartments within its 320sqm footprint, along with stringent PC2 requirements within several of the compartments.

Apex worked under the head contractor FDC to deliver the greenhouse, screens, doors and DADO paneling and polycarbonate cladding.

USYD is using the new greenhouse to conduct new research.
